This post is dedicated to Tilly Bud, who gets the most interesting spam, of which I have always been slightly envious. Mine tends to be all too predictable; Viagra punters, dating-for-over-50s, ‘how to pump your tyres’ (???) and so on … but this morning I got a piece of spam that is pure poetry, quite metaphysically. Really.
An absorbing communicating is worth comment. I conceive that you should indite more on this content, it mightiness not be a sacred dominate but generally group are not sufficiency to communicate on such topics. To the succeeding. Cheers like your DOUBLE-ARSES, BUMS AND BUTTOCKS The only Cin.”
Cheers indeed.

If Tilly came to visit me, I’d treat her to a traditional South African braai, with lots of meat and not a single one of her much-loathed enemy; the Brussels sprout. Steak and ribs, with a luscious, chunky mushroom sauce.

Perhaps that’s too predictable and I should do something a bit fancier for Tilly? Pork rib and mushroom wontons …

Or pork ravioli in a paprika sauce?

I’m sure we’d enjoy the occasion, whatever the dish. And I know we’d enjoy a glass of pink wine under a pink African sky … and a giggle about our spam.

And dessert? Oh, it’s not hard to solve that one …

But this is not Tilly’s cake, it’s for the shampoo girls at work. Tilly’s cake would have Maltesers …

    • She has dissipated into the nether regions of cyber space. {{POOF}}

I got a good one this morning:

We appreciate you the actual practical review. Myself and also my neighbor have been just preparing to be diligent about this. I am extremely grateful to find out such great info getting shared readily on the market.

Tis the season to be . . . preparing to be diligent! 😆

  1. Let’s not talk about the menu for Tilly if she comes there…she’s already been there…but what would the menu look like if I came? Sorry Tilly…but I’m expecting very few Christmas gifts..( you know that ‘naught or nice thing) a fantasy menu may be all I get. 🙂

  2. I love your spammers ….. ( )( ) haha ….. I love your fiorioli MORE … From henceforth I do hereby bestow decree niceenicee niceeest that these florabunda pasteroni’s shall be called Fiorioli …….. oh my aching madumbis they look droolish!

  3. Yummy food Cin, esp the wantons. I saw the chinese restaurant that you blogged about at Ghandi square and I must pay them a visit soon.
The shampooo girls are fortunate! 😉

  4. That really is the funniest spam comment I’ve seen.
I included brussel sprouts with my roasted vegetables tonight and they are really tasty. Tell Tilly to try roasting them in olive oil…

  5. What a great selection of dishes to choose from! Glad to see you’re putting those wonton wrappers to good use!

I agree with Sidey about brussels sprouts…

  6. I get ridiculous spam that never makes sense because it’s never written by anyone from the English speaking world. What a great menu! I just love the look of that meal. Congrats there. I would love those wontons and that dessert looks delicious.

    • I’m really not! An out and out carnivore, that’s me! But lucky, yes 🙂

Cindy, I’m touched and honoured by your post and your thoughtful menu. If I ever get back to South Africa, you’ll be my first stop. A real SA braai…how I miss them 😦

Not to be a party pooper, I just need to point something out – it’s mushrooms I dislike and brussels sprouts I LOVE; I will eat them with almost anything. I only mention it so you don’t go to a lot of trouble, only for me to eat a few polite mouthfuls and then embarrass us both by getting drunk on pink champagne and an empty stomach.

I think you’ve found a great new meme – fantasy menus for your regular readers. I can’t wait to read the next one.

Thank you again; I love it!

  7. My spam used to consist of a couple of lines, but it is getting longer and longer. What a waste of someone’s time! And sometimes the same words from a totally different address which leads me to wonder if there’s a spam bank!

  8. Fantastic spam, superlative blogger. Tilly is a must-stop-by for me every day. we all need a belly laugh and they’re two a penny at her site. What a gorgeous menu for a special person.

    I have cake envy.

  9. This reminds me of one of my favourite bits of Chinglish involving a toy to be inserted in water – ‘… for feeling with joy in observance of the pleasure of the swellings …’

I still quite like bully beef!

  10. that spam is the most garbled piece of English I’ve come across; whoever wrote it should go back to grade school English
