If you will call your troubles experiences, and remember that every experience develops some latent force within you, you will grow vigorous and happy, however adverse your circumstances may seem to be.
John Heywood

Blogging is a full time job and something’s gotta give. Usually it’s my social life

    1. theonlycin says:

      Social life? What’s that? πŸ˜‰

  13. Gotta love your optimistic attitude, nothing like a lovely cold drink of wine too. Cheers my friend, sounds like things are stretching you at the moment. Love the quote too πŸ™‚

  14. Don’t beat yourself up about it. πŸ™‚
And now for some useless information:
There is a bar on the beach here in Mauritius called The Beach House and it is owned by ex South African rugby player Kabous van der Westhuizen. He too sells the wine.
    πŸ™‚ Mandy

    1. theonlycin says:

Ah, good old Kabous, not the prettiest fella, now is he? *grin*

Good morning. I so appreciate your visits — wish I was able to get around to your blog more than I do — it’s always such a lovely visit. The picture of that wine on the table. . . makes me long for summer. Enjoy your day, Cindy.

Optimism sure does have its uses πŸ˜€

    1. theonlycin says:

Damn right you are, Sir πŸ™‚

  21. nrhatch says:

I like the photo as much (if not more) than the quote.
Wine + the beach house = perfect for pausing and reflecting.

Cheers, Cin ~ now when you say TGIF, you will really mean it!

    1. theonlycin says:

Yep, and on the other days I just dream about the beach house πŸ˜‰

  22. Blessings to you, Cindy. I can see where having a popular blog could become impossible to keep up with the way we would like. Don’t become a slave to it. Other bloggers understand. We don’t all have the same amount of time to devote to blogging. πŸ™‚ Balance…

    1. theonlycin says:

Thanks Carol, you’re very kind πŸ™‚ xxx

  23. I optimistically await any comment or reply I am ever privileged to receive from you. Please feel no pressure to do this – only that inward pressure self-generated that compels you to respond to my brilliant blog posts and witty comments and replies. πŸ˜€

Relax, Cin! Meditate and quit worrying about all this stuff. What should get done, will get done – the rest is just so much stuff and extraneous matter! XOXO Paula

    1. theonlycin says:

Your comments, too, are rather brillaint πŸ˜€ xxx

  24. grandawn says:

It’s too bad that we are required to focus on other things besides writing/blogging, isn’t it?!?!? I know the feeling, my dear. 😦

    1. theonlycin says:

      It’s darn frustrating πŸ˜‰

  25. buttercup600 says:

I share your sentiment here my friend, I find it hard these days to do it all…hopefully it will all balance out. Mwah oxo

  26. Cindy, enjoyed my visit here much. Don’t you dare try to respond to all my little chit-chat. Have a geat day … Thanks for all the chuckles. Hugs! πŸ™‚
