I read tonight at dinner … the words of De Montaigne as spicy and rich as this fine Shiraz.  I tasted Africa in the peppery scent and delighted as the bejeweled local fruits played on my palate; my senses caressed by the sheer opulence of the wine.

“The art of dining well is no slight art; the pleasure not a slight pleasure”.

I’m not sure I’ve even had Shiraz. I get serious migraines from red wine … but you make this sound tempting. 🙂
