There were two, Siggi, but the other one wasn’t keen to pose for me
I hope the weekend was awesome, and that the week to come is even better
I hope so for you too, my friend

Gorgeous. Love the pooch!
I must admit that I was sorely tempted to kidnap him
Thank you for reminding me how beautiful SA are.
It is and it makes me so sad to see all those little towns in the Free State that have become so derelict
The nearest dorpie from where I grew up on the farm, is now a total spookdorp.
So sad, and all down to the economy.
So many small towns have been completely vandalised and the abandoned farms break my heart.
Snow on the ‘berg! Lovely pics, Cin – love the aloes perspective and the frozen icicles
Thanks bluebee (Your notebook went along for the trip *grin*)
Beautiful pictures, Cindy!
Thanks Judith

Cindy, this is charming. Thanks for posting the photos. Don’t know which I like best. Lovely.
I once had firecracker plants (as in the first photo) in front of my house. Do you call them “firecracker” too?
Hope time away was fun.
It was great fun, Jamie, we call those plants ‘red hot pokers’ they grow wild.
Now… I would wanna have that kind of view from my bed
And I wish I could see the frozen water fall
It was so pretty, Tes
how wonderful
Hope your holiday was good too Myra?

Yes, it mysteriously reappeared, Sparky ;p
What wonderful views you had. A a big ole hound to protect you. You had me fooled with the first three pics thinking you were somewhere nice and warm.
It’s a spectacular place, I love going there
Shoo wee that looks awesome!!!! Really beautiful. Cold though. Don’t worry, it was just as cold at home, I think at one point my heart stopped!
Xx
You should go there, bokkie, your little princess would have such fun; they have all-day supervised programs for kiddies.
What are those flowers in the first photo? Lupines?
Love the frozen waterfall. Glad you had a grand time.

Thanks, Cin. They’re gorgeous.
Aren’t they just, Nancy, especially as they’re considered ‘weeds’?
Lovely! I was surprised when I came upon the icicles…I forget it’s winter there because it is so hot here! Glad you had lots of beautiful scenery.
It is very, very cold, Suzi!
I’m with you on the best place to be!
I thought about you Charlie, you’d enjoy it there
Loverly, loverly.
